Prescott- Shannon’s Cheesecake

You probably don’t know this, but I would die for a slice of cheesecake!  When we were walking around downtown Prescott, we walked right past a cheesecake shop!  I got down on my hands and knees and put on my sad face.  Luckily, my parents gave in, and we went inside and ordered a single slice of original cheesecake and a turtle one.  I was in heaven!  It tasted so delicious and creamy, I could eat it all day!

The restaurant was called Shannon’s Cheesecake, and it was amazing!  We got great service and delicious cheesecake — fairly quickly — and the employees were very kind and social.  The whole family loved it, and if we went back to Prescott, I would get on my hands and knees for more!

Prescott- Hampton Inn

As soon as we got to the hotel we changed and went to the pool. Tater and I jumped in and started playing with one of the balls, bouncing it back and forth. It was fun trying to beat our record, swimming around, and of course racing! After that we ate dinner, got into our P.J.s and as soon as our head hit the pillows, we were out like lights!

The rooms were pretty nice, and so were the employees. The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious so we could all get ready for bed at once, and the water was always hot when we took showers.  I’m guessing that the beds were comfy because we were asleep within two seconds.  There wasn’t anything bad about our stay, or the hotel, it was a great hotel and a great place to go to after a long day.

Prescott- Goodies

After lunch, I practically begged my parents to let us get ice cream.  We walked by an ice cream shop called Goodies, and we decided to give it a shot.  I’m so glad we did.  That ice cream was so creamy and delicious.  I went for the mint chocolate chip, Bug decided to stay original and got vanilla.

There ice cream was so amazing, and we got super good service. The line did happen to be a bit long, but it wasn’t their fault that everyone wanted delicious ice cream on a warm day. The employees were very social, but busy and hard working.  I think all the begging was totally worth it!!!

Prescott-Devil’s Pantry

Deep fried heaven! After we arrived in Prescott, we decided to grab some lunch. We walked around, checking out some restaurants and looking at their menus. As we walked by, the Devil’s Pantry caught our eye. When we walked up to the window, it said there was a Bacon Fest! Tater was all for that!

So Tater, of course, ordered a Bacon wrapped double fried corn dog, with fries. I was a little safer, and got chicken strips. I’m not a big fan of bacon. Tater scarfed down the whole thing quickly and was on to her fries in no time! It was delicious, but definitely not healthy!

We loved this restaurant and will probably come back next time! They have great service, the food is delicious, and all the employees were sociable and polite! The whole family loved it, and our parents already promised us we could go next time!!!
